We had the best vegetarian breakfast we have seen before now. Hospitable staff and cleanliness met our requirements. Brilliant place for city break in Stranraer. We enjoyed the fact that we chose Fernlea Guest House...

Great reviews on the booking system websites etc. and is probably one of the best if not the best b&b in Stranraer. Stayed just one night at the hotel due to a business trip and the location was ideal. The price was also acceptable considering the time of year. Lynn called me before I arrived to check arrival time and if I had any special requirements which was a lovely gesture. Found the hotel very easily (via Sat-Nav) and I had no problem with the location and not a problem going out for the eventing for something to eat. Kenny was very welcoming and helpful. Very nice room, confortable bed, and a very nice breakfast. All in whole a very nice stay and a very nice couple who run it.

We had a one night stop over ahead of catching the Ferry to Ireland. Proprietor's provided a warm welcome as well as a very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good quality and overall this b&b provides good value for money.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, our room was well equipped and spotless. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was yummy
It had off street parking, Wifi and was very reasonable priced there was nothing I didn't like about it. I will probably use it again if we go to the ferries.

The welcome was lovely, Lynn was ready with information about the local area and bus services. The room had everything in it that we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would definitely book it again if we were in that area.
nothiny to complain about,

The owner/operators were extremely nice and very helpful as well - they took the time to ask us about our trip and how we were doing and a pleasant conversation developed. When my wife and I arrived we were given a tour and shown the parking lot in the rear of the home - it was nice to have a secure spot to park off-street as that meant we didn't have to unload everything from the car and carry to our rooms as we did with other hotels on our trip with street parking. 5 min walk to town center for food + shopping.
